Janice Strength

Janice Morgan Strength, Ph.D. is a licensed marriage, family, and child therapist and a certified spiritual director. She maintains a private practice as a psychotherapist and spiritual director. She was an assistant professor at Fuller Theological Seminary in the Department of Marriage and Family in the School of Psychology.

 

During her subsequent adjunct years, she developed and annually taught a course on Theological and Clinical Exploration of Shame and Guilt. Janice holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Biola University’s Rosemead School of Psychology. She lives in Southern California with her husband Perry and enjoys reading, singing in choirs, playing the piano, gardening, and swimming.

Janice is the author of Healing Shame and Guilt: A Guide for Ministers, Therapists, and Spiritual Directors.
